Dr. Larry Attia is a practicing gastroenterologist at Mount Sinai West and Mount Sinai Morningside Hospitals and an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Icahn School off Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Attia’s interests include acid-related disorders, irritable bowel syndrome, gastrointestinal blood loss and colon cancer prevention and screening. A graduate of Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, and Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, he did his training in medicine and gastroenterology at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital. He has served in various hospital administrative roles, including President of the Medical Board at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital from 2014-2016. He also served as an Associate Medical Director, focusing on Information Technology Quality Initiatives. Dr. Attia is board certified in Gastroenterology.
